It’s True … Martin Kemp’s Coming Back to Brewhemia this October.

Disco Palast presents: Martin Kemp – Back to the 80s

Looking for things to do in Edinburgh this October? Well, you can stop looking.

After tearing the roof off the Beer Palace earlier this year, Martin Kemp is heading back to Brewhemia for another Back to the 80s party on Friday the 23rd of October 2026.

If you joined us last time, you already know what happens when a packed-out Beer Palace, a dancefloor full of questionable 80s garbs and a few hundred people singing their hearts out to the biggest songs of the decade come together.

If you missed it … consider this your sign.

Whether you’re planning a night out in Edinburgh, searching for the best events in October, organising Susan’s 60th birthday party plans, or simply looking for an excuse to spend your Friday night singing along to songs you definitely still know every word to, Martin Kemp’s Back to the 80s is back for another round.

Martin Kemp is Bringing Back to the 80s to Edinburgh

Yes, Martin Kemp. As in Spandau Ballet. As in Gold. As in one of the most recognisable faces and voices of the 80s.

On Friday the 23rd of October, Martin retrns to the Beer Palace at Brewhemia to take us straight back to the decade of big hair, bigger tunes and absolutely no such thing as too much shoudler padding.

Expect a full night of 80s music, dancefloor anthems and the songs that have somehow remained permanently lodged in your brain for the last four decades. We’re talking Duran Duran, Madonna, George Michael, Chaka Khan and, of course, Spandau Ballet.

This isn’t a sit-down-and-politely-watch-from-your-seat kind of evening. This is hands in the air, singing at the top of your lungs, dancing with your mates kind of Edinburgh night out.

And yes, Gold will absolutely be played.

If you joined us for Martin’s last Back to the 80s party in May, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. The Beer Palace was packed, the tunes were huge and the dancing got progressively more enthusiastic as the night went on.

If you didn’t make it last time, you’ve got another chance.

Friday the 23rd of October. Martin Kemp. Brewhemia’s Beer Palace. One massive 80s party.

Not a bad addition to your October calendar, eh?

Looking for Things to Do in Edinburgh in October? Start Here.

October in Edinburgh is not short on things to do, but if your idea of a good Friday night involves live entertainment, legendary music and a dancefloor full of people who know that the 80s produced some absolute belters, we’d say this one’s worth getting in the diary.

Located in the heart of the city, just moments from Waverly, Brewhemia will be transformed for a night of wall-to-wall 80s nostalgia.

So dig out the shoulder pads. Tease that fringe. Practice your air guitar. Or don’t. The dress code may be optional, but the urge to sing along definitely won’t be.
