Our insanely talented house band grace our stage and are giving you the chance to join them for some tasty jams.
Our house band is comprised of the fabulously talented Cameron Bradley, Toni McVey, David Burns, Becky Cole and Pete Wall. Between the 5 of them, they bring years of experience and expertise in all genres and styles to the stage.
Cameron Bradley is an Edinburgh native bassist who has been in the Edinburgh live music scene since he was 14 years. currently studying on Edinburgh Napier’s esteemed popular music course and working regularly with function bands, at jazz bar with StankStorm, Glasgow based math-rock band ‘Greater the Divide’ and with new Neo-Soul artist Becky Cole.
Toni McVey, a well-rounded session drummer has a passion for playing music such as jazz, soul, funk, pop and electronica. Toni currently plays for artists such as ‘LILURA’ and ‘Joesef’ and has supported band’s such as ‘Scouting for Girls’ and ‘The Pigeon Detectives’. In addition, Toni has played on BBC Introducing sessions with Vic Galloway a well as the Janice Forsyth show. You can also catch Toni playing at the Jazz bar as house drummer for the ‘Groove Thursday’s’.
David Burns is a versatile drummer who is experienced in a range of styles such as pop, funk and jazz. He plays in a variety of bands, including Barbe Rousse, and gigs regularly throughout Edinburgh and Glasgow. David also enjoys jamming with new musicians and is an active member of the local music scene.
Becky Cole is a singer & songwriter who draws primarily draws influence from R&B and Jazz. She is also an accomplished pianist/keys player and plays in a wide variety of genres. As well as her own music, she usually performs a mix of retro and modern pop tunes with a soulful twist.
Pete Wall is an active musician and composer based in Edinburgh. As well as his two current bands (Lola and Jimi Get Your Funk On), he has previously released music with past bands Oceancode and Sticks and Stones and performed with Edinburgh Footlights in their production of American Idiot for the Edinburgh Fringe.
