Seven Days of Shindigs #2 Dark Cabaret, Blaze presents: HalloQueen, & a Weekend of Devilish Delights
After a successful debut, we’re back for the second installment of our weekly blog, offering you a rundown of all things Brewhemia. As the specter of Halloween draws closer to us, prepare for a week of thrills, chills and killer heels in the Beer Palace. Without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the exciting things to come over the next seven days!
PALAST DES CABARET
WEDNESDAY 30th OCTOBER
Daiquiri Dusk, George Speirs, Volcanic Ash, Lawrence Chaney
It’s the last Palast Des Cabaret before we take a break for the festive period, and host and curator Tom Harlow has put together a send off for the ages. Expect a bazaar of the bizarre on Halloween’s eve, with our stars embracing the darkness and channeling their inner devilish desires.
Appearing this week like glamorous apparitions, will be burlesque bombshell Daiquiri Dusk, magician extraordinaire George Speirs, Volcanic Ash, master of the hoop and last but by no definition least, Lawrence Chaney, iconic drag genius.
BLAZE PRESENTS: HALLOQUEEN!
THURSDAY 31st OCTOBER
Taking cues from Halloween’s defining pop culture moments, our resident Queen, Blaze, has been hard at work creating a veritable festival of frights.
Blaze and her coven of dancers will be serving freaky and fabulous, and you certainly won’t need a ouija board to feel her presence. For fright night only, a fully produced and incredibly immersive drag spectacle, bound to raise goosebumps.
House DJ Lucky Luciano will also be in attendance with a set list of bangers, keeping the place jumping till the witching hour approaches.
THE HALLOWED WEEKEND
Join us for that most sacred of times, the weekend.
Sacrifice yourself to the night and let the spirit of Brewhemia consume your very soul, as our Beer Palace is taken by Halloween fever for two consecutive days of partying and spooky shenanigans. Our Creative Clique have played a blinder this year, with Friday celebrating Tim Burton’s maverick masterpiece ‘Beetlejuice’ and Saturday, you might want to find shelter, as The Purge takes the Beer Palace.
As usual, booking in advance is advised for all events to ensure a prime view of the action. A reminder too, that we’re currently offering a deal for some week day indulgence. Get two main courses for one when you quote code ‘BEERPALACE‘ on booking, from Monday – Thursday.
Which brings us very neatly to the end of this weeks Seven Days of Shindigs. We’re super excited for the coming week of Halloween fun, and we hope to see you there! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more updates on all the action, and we’ll be back next week with issue #3.
