Welcome back to our weekly rundown of the very best of Brewhemia. The spirit of adventure is core to our very ethos, and you’ll find it too in the events we host every single week. This month we welcome back the return of Quizzing with the Queens, plus the triumphant relaunch of our incredible dueling pianos evening Howl at the Moon. Throw into the mix some Six Nations shenanigans and you’ve got all the ingredients for a pretty incredible week.
MONDAY 3rd FEBRUARY
QUIZZING WITH THE QUEENS
8.30pm
Perhaps ‘pub quiz’ is too simplistic a term for just what you can expect from our Monday nights, and this is certainly unlike any quiz you’ve experienced before…
Join our Brewhemian Queens, with mouths as sharp as their brains, for a rip-roaring evening of quick-fire rounds, cultural curve balls, and maybe the odd dance-off or two. Eggheads this ain’t, and we like to think we’ve flipped the script on Monday’s entirely.
THURSDAY 6th FEBRUARY
HOWL AT THE MOON
7.30pm
Picture the scene…
A Beer Palace stage. Two baby grand pianos. A fierce musical duel where the fate of the players rests right in your very hands…
Howl at the Moon draws inspiration from the legendary piano bars of New Orleans and the Mississippi delta where punters would write their requests down upon cocktail napkins, and the ragtime musicians would engage in off the cuff battles of ferocious order xanax legally musicality.
Instead of cocktail napkins, we give you request cards. Jot down your bop of choice, and if you’re lucky, you’ll hear it worked into the performance. Best enjoyed with a cold drink in hand.
SIX NATIONS RUGBY BRUNCHING
11am – 1:30pm
£20pp
Brewhemia’s Sportsman’s Brunch returns for a third year, bigger and better than ever before. Our famous Rugby Brunches are the best possible way to pass a match day morning, so scrum on down and join us for a unique experience ahead of kick off.
Choose from two delicious brunch options, washed down with a pint of perfectly chilled, tank fresh Staropramen, glass of Prosecco, tea or coffee. We’re also delighted to announce that we’ll be joined by some famous faces in the game for an interactive Q&A session, including pre-match insights and maybe the odd score prediction or two.
We’re immensely proud to announce that we will be supporting the fantastic work of the Doddie Weir Foundation, with an option to purchase raffle tickets or contribute to donation buckets through the session.
Brunch options – Full breakfast or smashed avocado on sourdough with salmon.
That wraps up this week’s Seven Days of Shindigs. We hope we’ll be seeing you through the coming week, and in the meantime, don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram for updates and insider info on everything else we’ve got going on. See you soon!
