July is here, and Edinburgh’s officially in full summer mode. It’s a month of sunshine (one can only hope), concerts, live sport, graduations, concerts, city breaks, and making the most of the long evenings.
This is the season for saying yes to one more drink. Long lunches that become cocktails, after-work catch-ups that end up with your colleague dancing on a bench, weekends spent boozy brunching, and memories that’ll be getting torn to shreds in the group chat for years to come. Summer in the heart of Edinburgh is unlike anything else.
Everything’s better in the summer. Drinks taste stronger. Food tastes better. Music lyrics itch a scratch like no other. There’s that unmistakeable feeling that anything could happen. Right in the middle of it all? Well, that’s where you’ll find us. Pint of tank-fresh, spritzes, live music and entertainment throughout the week and into the weekend, and an itinerary packed with reasons to join us this month.
Let’s take a look at what’s coming up at Brewhemia this July, shall we…

Get ready to ruck ‘n’ roll in Scotland’s Beer Palace for the rugby. Whether you’re roaring on Scotland with a pint of tank fresh beer or plotting your game-day feast, we’ve got you covered. Expect wall-to-wall nostalgia as the soundtrack jumps from Spice Girls, Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys to Beyoncé, Nelly Furtado, Take That, Destiny’s Child and all the guilty pleasures you still know every word to. Whether you spent the 90s mastering your CD collection or the 00s living for a ringtone chart hit, this is your excuse to gather the group chat, order the cocktails and sing like nobody’s listening.

Edinburgh. 1828. The Medical School is hungry for bodies… and Burke & Hare can’t keep up alone.
Enter The Body Snatchers – an immersive social deduction experience inspired by the infamous tales that haunted the streets of old Edinburgh. Part murder mystery, part strategy game, part battle of suspicion and survival, this is not your average night at Brewhemia.
Upon arrival, every guest will be secretly assigned a role: Citizen or Body Snatcher.
By day, players will compete in interactive games, puzzles, challenges and team tasks to prizes. But when darkness falls, the real game begins…
Hidden amongst the crowd, the Body Snatchers will quietly choose their next victim while avoiding detection. Meanwhile, the Citizens must investigate, accuse and uncover the culprits before the streets claim another victim.
Trust no one. Question everything. And try not to end up on the operating table.
Expect dramatic reveals, shifting alliances, suspicious behaviour, prizes up for grabs, and enough twists to keep the entire room guessing until the very end.
Will you uncover the killers… or become the next victim?
From: bookable from 5:30pm, gameplay begins at 6:30pm
Price: £5pp deposit to secure, taken off your bill on the day

With Scotland unfortunately not making it through the group stages, our dreams of a World Cup Star being added to our jerseys are no longer a reality. June was a month of hope, of supporting the lads, of throwing cones on top of statues like our lives depended on it. And we’re left wondering just who do we support now?
That being said – our No Scotland No Party flags aren’t coming down just yet as we’re showing the World Cup Semis and Final – when it comes to the biggest moments in football, there’s only one place to be.
From kick-off to full-time expect: ice-cold pints of tank-fresh beer, proper plates of food, live music pre-match, pies at half-time and a match day atmosphere like no other in Edinburgh
This isn’t just watching the footie. This is living every pass, tackle, and goal like you’re right there on the pitch.
From: 14th July, 15th July + 19th July
Price: £5pp deposit to secure, taken off your bill on the day

Heading to see Luke Combs take over Murrayfield Stadium on Friday 24th July or Saturday 25th? Start your concert weekend the right way with a boozy brunch packed with live music from Old Bohemia playing all country classics and cocktails flowing faster than a Fast Car, brunch dishes worth shouting about, and enough feel-good atmosphere to have you looking Beautiful Crazy by the end of the afternoon.
Round up the group, pull on the cowboy boots, dust off the hats, and get ready for an afternoon of big singalongs, strong pours and Nashville-worthy energy before heading to Murrayfield.
From: bookable from 11am, entertainment scheduled until 4pm
Price: £5pp deposit to secure, this is taken off your final bill
Our stages are stacked with incredible local talent from the Edinburgh music scene, bringing the perfect soundtrack to your supper and keeping the energy up well past “just one more.” Expect everything from laid-back acoustic sessions to big, belting singalongs – the kind that start as background music and end with the whole table joining in. Whether you’re in for dinner, drinks, or an accidental late one, our June line-up has your evenings covered.
